The full-time, 20-month Indian School of Business PGP (an MBA equivalent) starts in mid-2025 and is open to high potential candidates with up to two years' full-time work experience.
The degree is designed to prepare students for the challenges of the modern workplace, and will include courses on advanced technology, data, analytics and global perspectives.
The curriculum will also feature experiential learning tools, including a Business Design Lab and an Innovation Lab, as well as a requirement for students to complete a mandatory two-month summer internship.
ISB currently boasts the number one-ranked MBA program in India according to the Financial Times, which requires applicants to have at least two years of full-time work experience.
Speaking about the decision to introduce a program catered towards those just starting their careers, ISB’s Dean Professor Madan Pillutla, said: “Since our inception in 2001, ISB has been imparting world-class management education to create leaders for India and the world. Our many conversations with industry leaders and recruiters reveal a need for young professionals who can step straight into roles that require business acumen alongside deep expertise in data and technology. In line with these requirements, we have designed the PGP YL program for fresh graduates and entry-level professionals to transform them into exceptional problem solvers and innovators at the workplace.”
ISB PGP YL fees
The program fee for ISB PGP YL is set at around INR 2,165,000 (approx. $25,800 not including tax).
Accommodation will cost an extra $4,700.
Scholarships will also be awarded to 40-50% of the class based on merit and merit-cum-need criteria, some of which may offer up to a 100% tuition waiver.
ISB PGP YL admission criteria
Students interested in applying for the ISB PGP YL will need to submit a valid GMAT, GRE or CAT score, as well as any additional details surrounding their educational qualifications and work experience.
The admissions process will involve a personal interview based on the students’ academic excellence, application essays, and test score performance.
Shortlisted students will then be interviewed by a panel consisting of leading industry practitioners, academicians, and ISB alumni in senior positions.
