Where’s the best place to grow your career after you leave business school? It’s a good question. And, happily for those looking for opportunities in India, LinkedIn has the answer.

Large multinationals and innovative startups hire from the cohorts of top Indian business schools each year. To compile its 2025 list of the top Indian companies to work for, LinkedIn analyzed the performances of the largest companies in India. It compared all firms with at least 500 staff in India and 5,000 or more employees globally. 

LinkedIn used eight pillars known to drive career progression to formulate its ranking, analyzing data to understand areas such as: how inclusive workplaces are, whether companies prioritize hiring diverse talent, and employees' experience of company culture. 

So, here are the 25 best companies to work for in India in 2025, according to LinkedIn.

25. American Express

American Express has multiple Indian locations, with the most common job opportunities available to business school grads being in areas such as finance and business development. 

As a global financial services company, American Express offers credit cards, payment processing systems, and travel-related services such as trip planning and business travel management. 


24. Eli Lilly and Company

Eli Lilly and Company is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. First founded in Indianapolis, the firm discovers, develops, and manufactures healthcare products for a variety of conditions. 

Students interested in joining the firm can find roles in functions such as information technology, and consulting. 


23. MSCI Inc.

MSCI Inc. offer financial services, providing investment decision support tools such as indices, portfolio risk, and performance analytics for global investors.

Relevant skill areas that MSCI Inc looks to hire within include artificial intelligence (AI), investment banking, and environmental consulting. The firm offers roles in functions such as business development, information technology, and engineering.


22. Atlassian

Australian company, Atlassian, provides software development and collaboration products for teams working on large projects. The firm’s products include Jira, a product management tool; and Confluence, which is a collaboration platform. 

Areas for graduates to go into within Atlassian include information technology and human resources. 


21. Stripe

Stripe is a tech company that offers payment processing and financial services for businesses. 

Operations and finance are some of the main job functions available for business school students looking to join the firm, with skills in criminal law, commercial banking, and insurance considered particularly useful for this company.

20. RTX 

Aviation and aerospace component manufacturer, RTX, has multiple locations across India. The firm provides services and systems for commercial, military and government customers. 

The largest job functions where grads could find opportunities with RTX are within consulting and information technology.


19. Mastercard 

Mastercard is a global payment technology company with offices across continents. Pune is home to one of Mastercard's global tech hubs. There are also offices in Mumbai and Delhi.

Most recruitment at Mastercard is in engineering, information technology, and consulting. The company also has an 18-month Management Associate Program for MBA graduates. 


18. Morgan Stanley 

Morgan Stanley is an investment bank and financial services company. Established in New York over 80 years ago, the company has been in India for more than 30 years. Morgan Stanley has offices worldwide, including five in India and more than 10,000 Indian employees.

For b-school grads, there are roles available in functions like business development, and information technology.


17. ServiceNow

From Santa Clara, California, ServiceNow is a software development company, providing a cloud-based platform designed to automate business processes for clients. 

Information technology and product management are some of their largest job functions required at ServiceNow, which is also the parent company of firms including Element AI, Swarm64, and Lightstep. 


16. HCLTech 

Headquartered in India, HCLTech is a global technology services firm that regularly features among lists of the best places to work. 

The company employs over 220,000 people globally, with most opportunities available for b-school grads in information technology and business development.

15. Wells Fargo 

Wells Fargo is another employer that’s often of interest to MBA and Master in Finance graduates. The company provides community, wealth, wholesale, and investment banking services to a wide range of clients. 

Opportunities at Wells Fargo primarily lie within finance, and information technology.


14. Continental

Continental, an automotive parts and technology company, has over 190,000 employees in 61 countries and 554 locations. A historic firm, it is responsible for the first patterned tire tread and the first driverless car in the world. 

Continental ranks 14th in this list of the top companies in India to work for. Areas a business school graduate could move into at Continental include information technology and operations.


13. Synopsys Inc 

Founded in the USA but with several offices spread across India, Synopsys Inc is a provider of electronic design automation software and semiconductor intellectual property used in designing integrated circuits. 

Job functions for business school graduates within Synopsys include research and information technology. 


12. Salesforce 

Salesforce’s products include Slack, Tableau, Mulesoft, and AgentForce. The firm’s largest job functions where ambitious professionals can find jobs include information technology and sales.


11. Capgemini 

Capgemini is the parent company of Capgemini Engineering, Sogeti, Capgemini Invent, and frog, to name a few of the many areas it operates within. 

It's no surprise that there are therefore diverse opportunities for business school grads, particularly in areas such as consulting and information technology.

10. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) 

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) offers wealth management services, repository and derivatives, institutional trade processing, and asset services.

Popular job functions within DTCC include business development, information technology, and engineering.


9. Alphabet Inc 

Alphabet Inc is a varied company with several platforms and products under its name, though it is best known as the parent company to Google. Alphabet covers many platforms such as Google Search and YouTube, as well as products like Pixel phones and Google Nest devices. 

Google hires mostly for roles in media, communication, and marketing.


8. Amazon 

Amazon is a vast global employer and operates as one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms. The tech hub of Hyderabad is Amazon's largest corporate office in India.There are also Amazon offices in Bengaluru and Chennai. 

Like many of the other firms on this list, Amazon mostly hires in operations and information technology.  


7. JPMorganChase

Those looking to move into the financial services industry after business school could explore roles at JP Morgan Chase & Co. The firm strongly focuses on equality, diversity, and inclusion, reporting that 49% of its global hires are women.

JP Morgan Chase & Co primarily hires b-school grads within finance and information technology.


6. Oracle

Oracle offers IT Services and IT Consulting and has offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, supporting firms in industries from hospitality to media to construction. 

The firm's largest opportunity areas where business school students could look to land roles are in consulting and information technology.

5. Cognizant

In fifth place in this list of the top companies in India to work for is IT giant Cognizant, which has offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. It has been offering IT Services since 1994. 

The firm's largest opportunity areas for b-school grads are in consulting and information technology.  


4. Fidelity Investments

Fidelity Investments offers investment management, retirement planning, and brokerage services to both individuals and institutions. 

Popular roles where you can find Fidelity Investments hiring include system engineer, business analyst and quality assurance engineer. 


3. Infosys 

Headquartered in Bangalore in 1981, Infosys provides information technology and consulting services across a wide range of industries. It ranks as the third top company to work for in India in 2025. 

Some of the job functions where graduates could look for opportunities with Infosys include information technology and consulting. 


2. Accenture

Accenture is a global professional services company offering services in management consulting, technology services, and outsourced professional services. It works across industries ranging from chemicals to banking to health.

There are opportunities to work with emerging technology at Accenture. Information technology, business development and engineering are also strong hiring areas for ambitious grads to explore.


1. Tata Consultancy Services

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has maintained a hold on the top spot of this list of the top companies to work for in India in recent years. The firm is also the only Indian-founded company to make the top five.

TCS provides global IT services, consulting, and business solutions. Business school grads can pursue roles at TCS in consulting and information technology.
