So, how do companies increase employee happiness?
According to the employer and brand comparison site, Comparably, the main factors include increasing workplace positivity, creating opportunities for professional growth, and providing satisfactory compensation and benefits.
Based on these metrics, each year Comparably asks professionals to rate aspects of their workplace such as diversity, leadership, and work environment in an annual employee happiness survey.
The survey reveals Comparably’s best companies for employee happiness, ranking the top 100 companies among those with over 500 employees. So, if you’re looking to find an employer that excels when it comes to happiness at work, check out the top 10 in this year’s list.
Employee happiness: 10 top companies
10. ArcBest
The logistics company ArcBest ranked as one of the top companies for employee happiness in 2025, coming in 10th place in Comparably’s list. Over 2400 employees reviewed the company, with 96% providing positive feedback. Of these, 845 rated the company particularly highly.
ArcBest’s performance across categories including work environment, executive team, and compensation placed the company in the top 5% of similar sized companies, and the top 5% of companies in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
One employee shared: “ArcBest practices its core values. They are not just words; they actually put them into practice and care about their employees.”
9. Alkami Technology
Comparably’s ninth best company for employee happiness is Alkami Technology, a digital banking solutions provider. Almost 800 employees rated the company highly, with 94% of almost 5200 reviews being positive.
Alkami Technology ranked within the top 15% of companies by both women and diverse employees. The firm’s CEO, leadership, executive team, and environment were regarded highly for employee satisfaction.
The company’s mission is a key factor in securing the happiness of its employees. As one employee explained: “Our organization is focused on winning for our customers, ourselves, and our shareholders. We have a wonderful opportunity to solve unique problems and really change the future prospects of our organization. That sounds like a good reason to get out of bed each morning.”
8. Ardent Health Services
Coming in at number eight for employee happiness in 2025 is healthcare provider Ardent Health Services. Out of almost 1500 reviews from employees, 91% were positive, and a further 294 employees rated the company highly.
The company is ranked particularly highly for diversity and female staff, and employee satisfaction is high with regards to factors such as compensation, work environment, and happiness.
One employee shared: “Since starting at Ardent, I have been able to grow and thrive in my role. The coworkers I interact with on a daily basis consistently provide support and encouragement that makes working here a great experience.”
7. Elsevier
A global leader in information and decision support for science and healthcare, the publishing company Elsevier ranks seventh on the list of best companies for employee happiness. Working at the company was rated highly by over 3000 employees, and 92% of over 17,600 employee reviews were positive.
Elsevier scored highly for its work environment, executive team, and compensation. It also won awards for its diversity and company outlook. The publisher ranked in the top 10% of companies in New York, and in the top 5% of similar sized companies.
“My overall experience has been positive and enriching,” said one employee. “I have appreciated the collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the company’s commitment to innovation in scientific publishing. The support from colleagues and management has been valuable.”
6. Drivetime | Bridgecrest | Silverrock
The auto retailer Drivetime, along with spin off companies Bridgecrest and Silverrock, ranked sixth in terms of employee happiness. Out of over 2800 employee reviews, 95% were positive, and 603 employees rated the company particularly highly across various culture dimensions.
According to Comparably, the Arizona-based company saw high employee satisfaction for its CEO, compensation, environment, and happiness, putting it in the top 10% of companies in Phoenix, and the top 5% of similar sized companies.
One employee described their experience at the firm as “filled with growth, great people, and a positive, supportive work environment.
“I’ve felt truly valued and inspired every step of the way, making it a place where I’m excited to come to work each day,” the review continued.

5. Vector Marketing
Vector Marketing, a single level marketing company, is ranked fifth for employee happiness in Comparably’s 2025 list.
With over 7000 employees, more than 97% described the workplace as fostering a positive environment. The company is rated particularly highly by 986 employees, who are 82% more likely to recommend Vector Marketing as a great place to work than other companies. The firms also scored highly for its CEO rating, compensation, and environment, as well as performing strongly in the companies for diversity and women awards.
One employee shared: “My experience has been incredible. I’ve travelled more than ever, gained endless opportunities, and learned there’s no ceiling—I can always grow and achieve more. The people I work with guide me, support me, and push me to get better every day.”
4. Nucor Corporation
Working at Nucor Corporation is rated highly by 444 employees, earning it fourth place in Comparably’s employee happiness ranking for 2025. The steel manufacturer received over 1900 employee reviews, of which 96% were positive.
Nucor Corporation also performed highly in other Comparably awards, including best company for women, best company outlook, and best HR and engineering teams.
“It’s fulfilling to be part of a culture that promotes growth, creativity, and mutual respect,” said one employee. “The sense of accomplishment that comes from working together to achieve shared goals, along with the constant encouragement to learn and improve, makes each day enjoyable and rewarding.”
3. TP
The digital business services company TP, or Teleperfomance, comes third for employee happiness in 2025, according to Comparably. As many as 96% of over 69,000 employee reviews were positive, with employees particularly satisfied with the company’s compensation, executive team, and environment.
The Albanian-based company also ranked within the top 5% of companies in Albania, as well as the top 5% of similarly sized companies. Similarly, TP employees are 75% more likely to recommend the company as a great place to work than other companies.
One TP employee shared: “My overall experience at the company has been positive and meaningful. I learned new skills, grew as a person, and worked with supportive teammates and leaders. The culture motivates me to do my best and makes me feel valued and part of a family.”
2. ADP
The payroll company ADP has risen one spot in the 2025 Comparably ranking, coming in second place for employee happiness. Out of over 13,000 reviews by employees, 91% were positive, with the remaining 9% consisting of constructive reviews to help improve ADP’s work culture.
ADP scored highly across a range of categories, including leadership, happiness, and CEO rating, and won other awards in career growth, sales, and diversity.
One ADP employee praised the company for “a culture that encourages teamwork and idea sharing, building trust and camaraderie.”
The review continued: “Strong cross-functional collaboration and diverse perspectives lead to more innovative solutions.”
1. Adobe
Rising one position from last year is the creative software company Adobe, which ranks as the number one company for employee happiness in 2025, according to Comparably.
Out of over 4000 employee reviews, 96% were positive, with employees most satisfied in categories such as CEO rating, environment, compensation, and happiness. Adobe also performed well across other Comparably awards, including perks and benefits, work-life balance, and diversity—all contributing to significant workplace happiness.
One employee shared: “At Adobe, I feel like I am part of a greater mission, impacting people worldwide. My network is expansive and I feel supported on a macro and micro level, for both my success and wellbeing.”
