The average gross salary of this year's placement earners—listed as Cost to Company or CTC—sits at Rs 20.32 lakh ($24,600), an increase from the previous year's average of INR 17.8 lakh. The highest CTC offered to any student was INR 36 lakh, while the top 10% of the MBA batch secured an average CTC of INR 32.32 lakh.
The top 25% of IIMU's MBA batch received an average salary offer of INR 28 lakh per annum, while the top 50% secured an average offer of Rs 24 lakh per annum.
IMU further states that there has been a 30% increase in pre-placement offers (PPOs) received through summer internships.
Companies within the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector secured the largest number of recruitments, followed by the consulting and technology sectors.
IIM Udaipur is one of only four IIMs that adhere to the Indian Placement Report Standards (IPRS), meaning the institute is expected to publish a comprehensive report on its website once the external audit is complete.

Several well-known recruiters have returned to IIMU in 2023 to offer placements.
Some of the top returning companies include Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Bain and Company, Bajaj Auto, BNY, Cisco, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, General Electric, JPMC, McKinsey, Pidilite, PWC, and Wells Fargo.
In addition, several new recruiters participated this year, such as Adani Group, Bank of America, Clearing Corporation of India, Everest Group, Godrej & Boyce, Orient Electric, SBI Capital Markets, Schneider Electric, Shalina Healthcare, State Street, and Times Group, among others.
IIM Udaipur holds 22nd position in the NIRF Ranking of top Indian business schools. It also features in 81st place in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2022 Ranking.
The MBA Program at IIMU is the institute's flagship program, aimed at providing students with a transformative experience that shapes them into socially responsible and highly skilled managers capable of leading their organizations towards excellence. Steps to gain entry to the MBA program at IIM Udaipur:
⇨ Sit the CAT examination.
⇨ Candidates are shortlisted for interview based on their CAT score.
⇨ The PI (personal interview) process is conducted online, which is common for all the IIMs participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP).
⇨ (There is no Written Ability Test.)
⇨ IIM Udaipur prepares a merit list based on the CAT score, PI score, and Profile score.
⇨ Once the merit list is prepared, the successful candidates will be informed, and will be required to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time.
