EDHEC aims for the new program to prepare students to tackle technological, environmental, and societal challenges, helping to advance society and strengthen the global economy.
Announcement of the new degree is in line with one of EDHEC’s 2020-2025 strategic goals, which emphasized a heightened focus on “tech, AI, and humanities.”

EDHEC Online MBA: Curriculum
As a founding member of the FOME Alliance—12 top-ranked management schools dedicated to advancing digital learning for business professionals—EDHEC emphasises digital innovation throughout its programs. The two-year Online MBA provides a new opportunity to embrace this mindset.
The EDHEC Online MBA will give students access to FOME’s e-learning platform. This is an immersive experience where students receive real-world learning through consulting projects, masterclasses, and learning expeditions.
The Online MBA curriculum is designed to focus on giving students an understanding of technological advances while providing the chance to specialize in specific areas of business management, such as Strategy and Innovation or Climate Finance.
These ambitions will be supported by EDHEC’s cutting-edge research, which will feed into courses to offer learning that aligns with environmental and societal goals to develop conscious leadership in students.
For example, the EDHEC Risk Climate Impact Institute will teach Online MBA students the fundamentals of green finance and how this can create a more sustainable economy.
Alongside this, the Foresight Innovation & Transformation Chair will help participants develop a long-term economic vision that considers AI advances and innovative new business models.
Announcing the new degree, Loïck Menvielle, associate professor of marketing and director of the EDHEC Online MBA said: "Through these close collaborations with research chairs and centres, the EDHEC Online MBA will give future leaders the keys to understanding a complex, ever-changing world.
“By giving students access to our school's most up-to-date academic work, we hope to enrich their perspectives and provide them with the skills to make sustainable transformations possible."
Students will also receive personalized career counseling and the opportunity to participate in the LEAD360 program, which strengthens leadership skills and encourages personal development via coaching sessions, workshops, and face-to-face meetings with EDHEC researchers and faculty members.
The program will welcome its first intake in fall this year, with the next intake to join the program in spring. The cost of tuition is €39,000 ($42,000).
