The scholarship—which will award 10 European business school applicants—is open to applicants from all backgrounds but aimed especially as fostering diversity and inclusion in the graduate management education sphere.
For this reason, candidates such as women, those with disabilities, LGBTQ+, Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME), and candidates from lower socio-economic backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
While the award is just for European candidates—either European nationals or those with a resident visa—they can apply to any GMAT-accepting business school across the globe.
This year, there is a wide range of awards successful applicants can get hold of, each worth up to €4,500 and aimed at removing some of the cost—and stress—of applying to business school.
These include GMAT preparation with a professional instructor, offered by various sponsors of the scholarship including 700+ club, English Business Services (EBS), Apex GMAT, and Your GMAT coach. You could also gain a voucher to cover the full cost of the GMAT exam, or online courses to prepare you for studying abroad, offered by CulturaGo.
Earlier this year, GMAC announced the launch of its new GMAT exam, the GMAT Focus Edition. The GMAT Focus exam is set to launch in late 2023, however the current exam will continue running until early 2024.
Applicants for the GMAT Talent and Opportunity Scholarship may take either exam format.
