HEC Paris are hosting a master class in Dubai on Tuesday 6th December. The event will be hosted by HEC Professor Kevyn Yong, who will be speaking on ‘Organisational Behaviour’.

After the hour long talk there will be cocktails and networking with the HEC alumni based in the GCC.

Professor Kevyn Yong received his PhD in Management and Organisations from S.C. Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the National University of Singapore and a Masters degree from Harvard in Mind, Brain and Education.

Professor Yong researches creativity and innovation with particular interest in social networks and social cognition.

So what is Organisational Behaviour? Simply put it is the study and application of knowledge about how people, individuals and groups act in organisations. It analyses people-organisation relationships in order to build better relationships.

For MBAs it is a useful skill to have as it raises awareness of the impact of your leadership style on an organisation.

An organisation is built on the values and goals of management. This vision drives the culture within the organisation affecting group dynamics and communication within the company and ultimately the quality of employees work life.

The event is held on Tuesday 6th December at 7pm at the Alliance française de Dubai, Auditorium - Oud Mehta, Street 18 (near American Hospital & Movenpick Hotel Bur Dubai).
