Positive feedback from the companies and managers that have participated in SDA Bocconi's Executive Education programs has boosted the business school by six positions in the annual Executive Education ranking, published by the Financial Times on 14th May.

With this latest result, SDA Bocconi has reached the 25th position in the global ranking and 11th place in Europe.

The rankings evaluate the quality of the School’s Open Programs (executive courses) and Custom Programs (designed specifically for the participating companies and institutions), which are offered by business schools all over the world and aimed at current managers.

The rankings are based on 31 indicators, most of them judged by the participants and the companies, one third by the institutions themselves.

The final ranking is the average score (not the average place) obtained in each of the two rankings, for Open and Custom Programs.

In the Open Programs ranking, the School ranks 32nd in the world and 12th in Europe, while in the Custom Programs its ranking was 23rd and 10th respectively.

“We are extremely satisfied with this result, which testifies to the growing ability of the SDA Bocconi to provide programs that are valued and immediately applicable by companies and managers”, explained Alberto Grando, Dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management.

“We are pleased as well with the rapid growth of Custom Programs that, despite the current economic crisis, has seen a rising number of companies and institutions that want to design truly customized and innovative training through SDA Bocconi School of Management.”

SDA Bocconi is the leading School of Management in Italy and one of the top-ranked European Institutions. Founded in 1971, SDA Bocconi School of Management is one of the first business education institutions in Italy. The School focuses on innovation and complex modelling of business problems in its executive courses and Master programs.

The School offers a Full-time MBA and a Global Executive MBA in English as well as a modular Executive MBA and an Evening Executive MBA in Italian.

It also offers 10 Full-time Specialized Master Programs (five International and five in Italian) and six Executive Specialized Master Programs (two International + four in Italian).
